How to fix the hybrid page right now??
Large banh xeo, 3 bbq dishes, 4 beers for 560K. Delicious. Sit inside and 5% extra charge for air con.
MoreGood service, very disappointing food. The banh xeo ist flavorless and oily, seems to be just for the tourists. Shrimps are unpeeled with legs. As there is so much great quality food in this city better save the belly space for another place
MoreQuite tasty and good value. I don't feel it was the best I had in Ho Chi Minh but was good none the less.
MorePretty disappointing. Not much flavor and bitter aftertaste from the leaf wrap. Spring rolls and peanut sauce were good. Prices are a bit high for what it is - lots of better food at better prices in a great food city like this.
MoreMadame Thuy is awesome. She's the 3rd generation owner and told us that Banh Xeo 46A has never closed, not even during the war. Food is great and the atmosphere is terrific. Be polite, be appreciative, and you'll get great, attentive service.
MoreBanh xeo is expensive and taste so so. It was better in the past and became famous due to its existence for a long time and lots of tourists visiting. Tour guides got pay to bring foreign tourists here which is fine and nothing wrong with it. But do not mistaken the place being crowded and famous because QUALITY or simply MARKETING.Note: The lady owner is not friendly at means. To readers, I am a tourist too. Not competitors of this place. FYICheers
MoreI find it overrated. The Banh Xeo is too rich in coconuts taste for me. But the service is nice though.
MoreGreat place with authentic food, located in a little alley near Than Binh market in District 3. The Saigon Bike Tour passes by here which can be annoying sometimes, but the food is nonetheless worth a visit. Tip: They are famous for their Banh Xeo, but all other dishes are awesome, too.
MoreGood place for enjoy Vietnam foods, there are alots traditional VN foods such as: BanhXeo, Banhcanh, BanhCuon...
MoreI went there just a couple of days ago to eat the famous Banh Xeo. But I didn't enjoy it because the big pieces of shrimp were unshelled. That gave the pancake a texture that was unpleasant. I previously tried Banh Xeo at Bep Me In and that was absolutely wonderful.
MorePlenty of choices, cannot tell good or bad.
This place is very good. Banh xeo is good, but the vinegar and beef is good. Service is very good here.
MoreWe eat there so many times, just go there and pick any dish randomly. Special S tier rank for cha gio.
MoreVery overrated. The food is ok, the service is rough, the place is not very clean and the pricing is too high. They even charge you for napkins which I find very inelegant.
MoreFirst time in Vietnam and first time trying something outside the norm. I thought it was fantastic! Some may not be a fan of all the herbs but once you layer all the herbs properly it’s amazing! Definitely would recommend giving it a try if you want the local food experience!
MoreLess impressive than what I expected. Very oily and neutral taste. The only good part was the giant prawns coming in your mouth. We asked for a chilli sauce to give it a little kick.
MoreVery good and autentic Vietnames food, delicious.
You have to try it to understand what the hype is about. Insanely crispy pancake filled with such goodness. This place has a fantastic street food vibe and super busy. Don't forget to say hello to the Poodle who guards the place 😁
MoreTerrific local pancakes and a great menu of local cuisine. Fresh, relaxed and foreigner friendly. Very much worth a visit.
MoreAn absolutely terrible dining experience. Choose another place. I was served stale fried spring rolls, 9 instead of 10. They gave me the extra one which was acutally fresh and much better compared to the rest. The taste was ok. Nothing special. My friend chose the vegetarian pancake option - beware: the vegetarian option is only mung sprouts and onion. Nothing more. Not worth the hefty price. They served us warm beer with ice.
MoreReally nice food. Get the fried spring roll and the grilled pork! And of course their banh xeo. Overall it's nice, had to wait a bit because it's really packed. Also, a little out of the way from the main city, but grab is cheap there so try it if you have the time. Also, the price point is a little bit high but still affordable.
MoreFantastic and delicious!
Bahn xeo is not bad. Decent sized shrimps. 100k a piece at a very tourist spot.
Decent banh xeo place. It is super big and we weren't too hungry when we came. It was definitely crunchy but overall not that memorable. I think I remember seeing a sign that costs more to sit at the indoor area as well. Nothing too crazy but just slightly annoying
MoreThe banh xeo is good - crunchy, good ingredients, cooked nicely. One of the best I’ve eaten. I would skip the fried spring rolls.
MoreWe had the original pancake as seen on the Bourdain programme. It was ok. I expected a different taste and less grease.
MoreWhile this store is famous for their banh xeo, their banh xeo is so so only. It’s quite bland n flour tastingInstead recommend to order their fried chicken in fish sauce and their fresh n fried spring rolls. For these, it’s still recommend to make a trip here, esp if you visit the nearby pink cathedral.
MoreTheir food is worth waiting for!
Clearly popular among white tourists. It's flavorless and really oily. The fish sauce was bland and doesn't even have the distinct smell. We got the fish sauce wings and aside from the crisp, were really disappointing.Definitely overhyped and not worth it. You can find better elsewhere in Saigon.
MoreIt's not cheap. No english menu given to me so I ordered according to google map reviews. I dont no what I ordered but the bill is way more expensive than expected. The famous fried egg pancake with shrimp and pork taste not bad at first but too oily for me to finish it alone, especially the last quarter. Please share it.
MoreOne of the best I've had. There's two opening hours and we didnt realise that until we came 1 and a half hours early. They still gave us a table and let us order. These banh xeos are unbelievably crispy but not oily at all. They also have eggs in them, which is a first, and massive prawns. They also have other dishes as well.
Moreawesome Banh Xeo. one of the must try restaurants in this city!
The fried bread concoction was very good. A popular place with locals and with good reason.
MoreSo I make it a point to visit 1 or 2 places that the late Anthony Bourdain has eaten. This place was great all around the Vietnamese Pancake the spring roll vermicelli and the Bo La Lot was delicious. The servo e was actually very good very attentive and helpful.
MoreIt's kinda taste good but not that i expected from the reccommendation from the people
MoreThe low quality but prize is too high. Not recomment anyone come here to try cause hcm has many better restaurant
MoreLovely place were you can eat the very famous banh xeo. This place is famous for there special Banh Xeo.Usually when you arrive here you need to wait around 10 to 30min before you can sit bcs the waitingline is so long .A very crowded restaurant.A part of the restaurant is close to the cooking place and outside....the other part is inside on the other side of the street. The workers here work sooo hard, they even run to serve the costumers.really a nice place with delicious foods.Prices here are not expensive.Big respect for the friendly and hard working staff.
MoreI am by no means a banh xeo expert, but I know what tastes good....this was great. The guy that served me was helpful. I recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Morethey just increase the food price, this place is expensive (comepared to other places in saigon) cuz it's for tourist. The cold spring roll is 18vnd for one, which is triple expensive compared to other normal spring roll. It costs about 40vnd for an extra plate of veggies, which is hella expensive cuz veggies in vietnam are pretty cheap.Pancake 100vnd will have 10 shrimps with shell, meat and beansprouts. While the special pancake 170vnd will have 10 shrimps without shell, egg, meat and beansprouts. But I personally think that the fish sauce is not tasty!! :((customer service is kind of bad, they're unfriedly and their faces look unhappy. They didn't even serve me enough food. However, this place looks bright and clean
MoreA popular outdoor restaurant known for bánh xèo or the Vietnamese crepe/pancake/dosa. The word is that Anthony Bourdain ate here so now it's a tourist destination. No vegetarian/vegan options. The bánh xèo is accompanied with an assortment of fresh leafy vegetables to wrap your bánh xèo inside. Several herbs are included as well to enhance the flavor and texture of your meal. Many drink options are available and there's three desserts to choose from. The owner has a well-groomed pup that appears friendly.
MoreBest Banh xeo I had. Great service despite many many guests. U have to calculate some waiting time because so many people are going there. Banh xeo regular costs 90k and special 150k. But it’s really really worth it.
MoreCame here for early dinner and the stall was already filled with people! Staff was friendly. Food was served quickly. We had the regular sized banh xeo which was sufficient for two. It was so crispy and flavorful! We also ordered the Vietnamese spring rolls and lemongrass BBQ prawn. Both were great as well! Will definitely visit again if we ever go back to HCMC!
MoreAgree with lower ratings. If the best Banh Xeo and veges taste like this, I would skip future Banh Xeo experience. Seems over-hyped for our family. I treated my ladies at London Nail shop a block away to compensate.
MoreOverall the food was good - the crepes are oily but perhaps that's how it is supposed to be. Best eaten with the accompanying vegetables and herbs with the dipping sauce. Add chilli to your liking. There can be a wait especially on weekends but the wait isn't long and there is a system. Some items are more expensive but it appears tohat what needs to be ordered are the crepes /pancakes (I'd recommend one pancake per 2 adults, additional meat if you are a meat person, the fried spring rolls which come in a plate of 5 which is the minimum order). Order a beer or some soft drinks to your preference and eat along with everyone else. Service can be slow but you need to be persistent and you will get what you need.
MoreAn awesome little jewel with great food. The pancake dish is crunchy with not too much oil and when put together with the herbs it was a wonderful Vietnamese dish with just the right balance of flavours. A nice atmosphere that invites local culture and good conversation.
MoreProper Vietnamese pancakes and spring rolls. Look no further. In a back street, looks like nothing but give it a try. It's worth it.
MoreGood Xeo cake with spices, large room, lane to restaurant is small. Staff is friendly, good restaurant
MoreNice bánh xèo (prawn pan cake), quick service! Now they open 1 more house & hall for guests, extra space for more enjoy!Reasonable price!Must try if any want to try Vietnamese cuisine!
MoreFood is fresh and delicious, and the signature Banh Xeo is a must-try. The staff were helpful in a lot of ways but English not so good, doesn't matter that much because the menu has a clear translation in a lot of languages.Like the spring rolls a lot!!! The noodles were nice too, but even better if you add chili into the soup. The only downside was that some sauces did not match well with the dish.
MoreDelicious, clean, good service. Not easy to find the place but you can ask people near there because the restaurant is really popular. Price is a bit expensive but it's worth
